Just to reassure...

We have just heard about the earthquake over in Pakistan, and thought we'd reassure you all that we are over 1000km away in Varanasi, and didn't feel a thing.

We had a interesting row up and down on the Ganges this morning at dawn. Truly a unique experience.

Next stop is Agra for the Taj Mahal, courtesy of another sleeper train. After that we go even closer to the Pakistan border with a visit to the Golden Temple in Amritsar, then into the hills with Dharmasala, and McLeod Ganj.

Sometime along the way we hope to get in touch with the Virgin office in Delhi to arrange the date for our flight home, which everyone keeps asking for!
