The more vigilant of you will have noticed that our site was down for a while.
This was down to a server failure at our hosting provider. Fortunately they seem to have been able to restore almost everything to a new server, and we've been able to replace a few other things ourselves. However, there are one or two things missing still, like small parts of the website code and email address books. Let me know if you spot anything that's broken.
Ta,
Pete
As promised, I've published my Routemap module for Xoops.
Routemap is designed to display a journey on a map, as a series of points linked by lines. The details of each leg of a journey are set up on the admin pages, and can vary in style and colour. The supplied map can be replaced with any png image of similar size, and it is possible to create more than one journey for users to select.
Optionally, data about each leg can be displayed in a table below the map, and notes about the whole journey can be displayed above and/or as a footnote.
I'm coming close to having my itinerary map module for xoops ready for publishing...
Nope, not house, or anything like that. We've moved the website to a new (more reliable) hosting company.
Unfortunately, due to the nature of the Internet and my lack of control over the internals of my dns, the transfer may take a day to complete.
If you're reading this though, you're looking at the version of the site on our new host!
In addition, I'm hopeful that my email will no longer disappear without trace as it tended to with the old provider.

Just want to say that, yes, the site has been down for several days. There have been proplems arising from a server replacement at my hosting provider, and my knee-jerk reaction to this didn't help.
Let me know if there is anything still broken - we are aware of a few updates (such as virtual birthday cards) that are missing as a result of this situation.
We'll try to get these sorted soon as...
Ta,
Pete
Pete's Birthday is a portentious number...
The lucky few will soon have accounts on Purplepoo to give them access to extra features...
I'm thinking up a visual itinery display which will hopefully end up as a Xoops module.
